A batik painting of 'The Virginia', an old 'Q' Class wooden sailboat, and her crew sailing in a race during Chester Race Week in Nova Scotia, Canada. 'The Virginia' (built in 1913) is owned by the skipper, Johnny Wurts.

I used to crew on 'The Virginia' every summer during Chester Race Week. We very rarely won but it was fun racing the other Classic Fleet sailboats throughout the season.
