A batik painting of 'Brigadoon', a traditional Nova Scotian painted cedar shingle Chester house, which used to be the summer residence for over 80 years, of the Spahrs, an American family from Philadelphia, USA.

The Spahrs are related to the Wurts family, who were one of the first American families to spend their summers in Chester, Nova Scotia, at the turn of the 20th Century. Brigadoon was the summer home of 'B' and Sandy Spahr until a few years ago.

Original batik painting on cotton is sold.
