The Finney Family House

A batik painting of George and Helen Finney's family summer cottage on the Peninsula in Chester, Nova Scotia. In the foreground are different members of the Finney family. The Chester house is situated near the end of the Peninsula and has a stunning view of Mahone Bay. The Finneys owned the house for over a century. Their family came up from Baltimore in the early 1900's to spend their summers in Chester. In 2017, Helen Finney sold the house and since then the house has been renovated. You wouldn't recognise the house now.
