A batik painting of Sally, the daughter of a friend of mine, who was searching for crabs. During the summer, many people picnic on the small islands in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. They spend time walking along the beach looking for sea glass, as well as wandering over the rocks searching for crabs.

This scene caught my eye, as it brought back childhood memories of myself and my siblings clambering over the rocks searching for crabs and other sea creatures.
