Spahr v Spar

Stewart Spahr, a friend of mine, crews every summer on the Virginia - a classic Q wooden sailing boat. Here he is checking the mainsail of the Virginia, whilst crewing during Chester Race Week, in Nova Scotia, Canada. In the back ground are some IOD (International One Design) sailing boats with their distinctive red and white spinnakers.
