This was a commission. I was asked by the owners of 60 King Street, Chester, Nova Scotia, to produce a batik painting from an unusual viewpoint of their house, porch and garden. The house had recently been renovated but the garden, in particular, is full of unusual plants and trees. The owners were garden designers.
