Bluebells and Primroses
Every time I go for walks through the Sussex woods or down a lane, I'm always amazed how beautiful the bluebells are with their purples, lilacs and blues. South East England is renowned for the carpets of bluebells that transform woodlands with their glorious colours.
I find it very hard to capture the true blue/lilac/purple colours of bluebells in my art work. I hope in this batik painting, I have managed to do so.
