Conservatory
This greetings card is of a batik painting on cotton fabric of a conservatory.
This conservatory was in the back of a flower shop in Lindfield, Sussex, where a friend of mine was working. I was inspired by how the light shone through the panes of glass of the roof, casting shadows on the wrought-iron chairs, table and plants. This was one of my earlier batiks.
