Going Fishing

A batik painting of a Vizsla wading into the sea, searching for signs of fish. This Vizsla is a beautiful dog. I often met her when I got up early to catch the sunrise. I just love the colour of her coat and her curiosity.
I love capturing water in my batik paintings - the way the light reflects on the ripples and waves. I chose to do this batik with reflections during the day and not at sunrise, as I wanted to catch the chestnut colour of the Vizsla's fur.
