Leap for Joy 2
In summertime, children just love going to the beach. In this batik, I have tried to capture a child joyfully leaping through the air, surrounded by dunes and grasses, with a clear blue sky overhead. Sunlight illuminates the scene, capturing the carefree essence of a day spent at the beach.
This is the second batik I've done of this image. I sold the first one. It just proves that each original batik is one-off, even though I start the batik with the same drawing.
