Seneca is a classic wooden sailing boat built in 1907 but renovated approximately 20 years ago. In this batik I have tried to capture the dynamic motion as Seneca cuts through the shimmering waters under a blue sky. The boat is participating in Chester Race Week in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Seneca crew on board is actively engaged showcasing teamwork and skill in navigating the boat.
