Warp and Woof Gift Shop and The Old Sweater Annexe
A batik painting of the Warp and Woof Gift and Gallery shop which was the oldest continuous seasonal gift shop in Nova Scotia (91 years!). It closed down in October 2012. It was always fun to visit to buy that traditional or indigenous Folk Art present to take home.
The old Sweater Annexe was situated on Duke Street behind the Warp and Woof. It was pulled down at the end of the 1990's and a tall apartment building was built in its place.
In the foreground are a couple of Adirondack chairs which are permanently situated across the Front Harbour from the old gift shop.
Original batik painting on cotton is sold.
