Mary Fowke commissioned me to do a batik painting of her family summer cottage on the Peninsula, Chester, Nova Scotia. The house is called Bonny View.                                            It was difficult to take photos of the back of the house as the garden slopes steeply down towards the water. However the house has lovely features and is a beautiful example of an old Chester summer cottage. It also has a stunning view of Mahone Bay.

The orginal batik painting on cotton was a commission.
