Spinnaker Serenade

An abstract batik painting of three boats racing through the waves with their billowing spinnakers. I wanted to capture the colours of the spinnakers as they playfully serenaded with each other, whilst propelling the boats forward. This batik is very different to what I usually do, as my batik paintings are mainly figurative. It was fun to be more experimental.
