Socially Distancing after Lockdown
A batik painting by Rosi Robinson of two women sitting in deckchairs socially distancing by being two metres apart. As the UK came out of lockdown, we were allowed to meet on other person not in our household, but we had to socially distance.. Here the women are chatting by the River Thames.
I love the abstract shadows created by figures sitting in deckchairs. It is quite a challeng to achieve the gradation of the stripes in a batik painting.
